HEAD OF GLOBAL RECRUITING

SendBird is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Global Recruiting (Director Level) to define our recruiting strategy and build a best-in-class talent acquisition program. We are assembling a dream team and are eager to meet ambitious, driven candidates who crave impact, thrive in ambiguity and want to experience a start-up shifting into hyper-growth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Lead recruiting strategy and programs: bring innovative thinking to create a lasting and impactful candidate experience; ensure efficient flow with our internal business partners, while focusing on equity + consistency.
* Develop programs focused on diversity and inclusion practices, employer branding, employee referral, interview training, and university recruiting.
* Influence leadership: support + guide people leaders in assessing talent pipeline and needs in the organization.
* Inspire team: manage and build upon a high-touch and high-performing talent team.
* Refine hiring forecasting capabilities; establish and report on key recruiting metrics to measure team effectiveness and provide data-driven, actionable insights.
* Develop and implement an efficient and standardized interview process that scales across roles and offices.
* Define and report on KPIs for recruiting.
* Recruit: keep your skills sharp and hat in the game by taking on responsibility for full life-cycle recruiting for key roles.

WHO YOU ARE

* You know how to balance long-term focus with practical day-to-day execution.
* Experience building and managing a recruiting function and team.
* You are an experienced hands-on recruiter and have driven strategy for a corporate in-house recruiting function.
* Proven ability to collaborate with people across all levels and functional areas.
* You keep diversity top of mind and continually look for ways to discover and engage with talent from underrepresented backgrounds to drive our values forward.
* You are a team player and have the ability to influence and develop effective partnerships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
* A great sense of humor and grace under pressure, highly appreciated!

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

* 8+ years of broad and progressive experience in full-cycle recruiting across different roles at both early-stage and high-growth tech startups.
* 5 years of experience directly managing/ leading a team.
* Experience building a global team, with previous experience in APAC and EMEA a strong preference.
* Experience building employer brand voice via platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor and career pages.
* You have built a metric-driven recruiting program to measure team effectiveness and provide data-driven, actionable insights.
* Deliver programs to ensure our hiring managers and interview teams are well-prepared/well-trained. Train, enable, and coach them to be the best!
* Foster an environment of inclusion with an emphasis on developing programs and strategies to build diverse teams.
* You are adept at anticipating needs influencing and driving change within an organization.
* Strong understanding of compensation techniques and methodologies.
* Ability to exercise extreme diplomacy, sensitivity, empathy and confidentiality.
