Title: Business Data Analyst

Pay Rate: 28/hr

Must Haves:

• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to convey complex information to internal stakeholders and demonstrate flexibility when incorporating feedback.
• Ability to perform and produce time-sensitive results under often ambiguous conditions.
• Ability to work independently and balance engagements with multiple internal partners under minimal supervision.

• Competent in generating pivot tables and pivot charts
• Knowledgeable of creating reports
• Undergraduate Degree

• Researching background
• understanding, experience or knowledge of PG&E, utility or similar
• Undergraduate degree in engineering (electrical, civil or mechanical)
• Foundry/Palantir Experience

MIS Day to Day

Insight Global's Manage Service Division is partnering with a local utility company to support our client as they work to refine and develop processes surrounding their Electric Maintenance and Inspection Strategy team. Insight Global intends to Support PG&E in the form of business analytics as outlined below:

• Data Governance & Data Documentation - Consolidate data documentation and validate process adherence.
• Asset Registry Support - Insight Global will work with proper data SMEs to establish data standards and perform appropriate gap analysis for resolution.

• Our clients team has developed an asset level scoring structure based on data quality; it is expected that scoring confidence can be assumed based on data availability.

• Data Refresh - Develop monthly data refresh with QC effort.

• Maintenance plan information requires attention, data analyst will support the asset data refresh to work through variances.

• Data Analytics - Insight Global will utilize Foundry to perform data analytics for weekly operating reviews. Extracted and processed data will be utilized to develop material for weekly operating reviews.

• Weekly operating review dashboard build and support.
• Compliance analysis including inspection status, non-inspections, and non-compliance.
• Optimize inspection team data and refine active dashboard.
• Re-engineer active attainment report, document processes and procedures for data extract.

SAFE Day to Day

Insight Global's Manage Service Division is partnering with a local utility company to support our client as they work to refine and develop processes surrounding failure mode analysis. It is imperative that our client investigates and understands the cause of unplanned asset failures in order to predict and model future risk. Insight Global's team will support our client in ensuring all asset failures are appropriately addressed and categorized for future reference and analysis, by developing comprehensive tracking methods including intuitive and automated reporting.. Responsibilities will include:

Insight Global intends to support PG&E in the form of data analytics as outlined below for the development of Asset Failure tracking and trending analytics to be developed on the Palantir Foundry platform.

• On Demand Asset Failure Data Analysis - Support on demand asset data analysis based on ask from the product lead.
• Dashboard development - Build strong expertise in the Foundry platform and leverage the Foundry tools to develop dashboards that can be used for real-time tracking and trending of failure issues on PG&E system.
• Process Improvement - Insight Global will continuously improve deliverables and processes in the pursuit of automation and accuracy

AIC Day to Day

Insight Global's Manage Service Division is partnering with a local utility company that maintains an expansive infrastructure to help support its operations. These assets are part of our clients critical infrastructure and therefore require timely maintenance and replacement. Currently, our client maintains an Asset Register in SAP that helps track maintenance schedules and activities. With the objective to improve and enhance current processes and better manage risks and failures, our client is developing an integrated system that can track assets through their complete life-cycles, viz. "As-Built/Installed - > As-Maintained - > As Retired". You'll be responsible for supporting the reporting and analytics function for this program:

• Data Sourcing and Organization
• Data Manipulation
• Data Reporting
• Business Intelligence

• Dashboard development
• Trend analysis

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• San Ramon, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
