Typical Day in the Life of an Audit Manager
Might include the following:

As an Audit Manager, you will execute the day to to day activities of audit engagements with various clients, with a particular focus on complex phases; You will mentor, supervise, and train staff auditors as well as interface with clients on a daily basis

Manage and plan multiple audit assignments ensuring deadlines are met
Review work papers
Serve as the client's trusted advisor, demonstrate knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts, and proactively communicate solution options to the client and team
Manage staff on engagement deliverables; ability to provide timely feedback on engagements ensuring staff learning and development
Complete technical and strategic reviews ensuring timely delivery within budget
Manage engagement budget, billing, and realization of assigned clients and the supervision, training, and mentoring of staff
Responsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings, presentation and proposal development.
Evaluate internal accounting controls and audit programs or other reports, plans, or programs prepared by the staff
Supervise the preparation of management letters or final reports
Assist with training, coaching supervising and mentoring staff and interns
Who You Are: (Your Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree in Accounting Preferred
You are a CPA in good standing
You have a minimum of 5+ years of audit experience within a public accounting firm
You have the ability to perform and direct multiple engagements
You have experience with new client development and can recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
You are able to travel 20+ percent
You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
You possess excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
You have strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
You are desirous of growth wanting to become a future partner
You are a team player and love collaborating with others
You project confidence and credibility in technical knowledge
You are energetic and enthusiastic
You have a high level of professionalism and integrity
Work Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
