Veritas is searching for a Principal Business Analyst to help lead our Sales, Marketing and Customer Success team within IT.
This individual will partner with leaders from Customer Success, New Sales, and other cross functional IT organizations, to gather and analyze requirements, makes recommendations for application processes, and design innovative workflows to deliver outcome-based solutions. You will also be responsible for the administration and governance of our Customer Success technology infrastructure (Gainsight) . The candidate must have a strong business partner approach and continuous improvement mindset, good judgement, be process oriented, analytical, works well in teams, project manage as required and be capable of handling multiple priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing & Customer Success and other cross functional organizations to capture requirements, examine existing business models and flows of data, document and present findings and craft appropriate IT solution, act as the liaison between the technical leads, the business, and the development team.
- Consulting ability to define and prioritize requirements, translate requirements into system functions, understand application configurations and customizations which can complete the solutions
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support, enhance, and improve efficiency of business processes.
- Collaborate with business architects and cross functional teams to define the roadmap, prioritize projects and enhancement requests, analyze business benefits and/or operational efficiencies, map business processes and implement creative and effective solutions
- Facilitate integration and user acceptance testing including documentation of test scenarios and provide oversight of test execution for projects.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of IT experience within Sales, Marketing, or CS Enterprise Platforms or administration experience
- 1+ year of Salesforce or Oracle CRM configuration and administration experience ideal
- Knowledge of customer success business function, including key metrics, processes, and general best practices to drive operational excellence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, JIRA, Smartsheet.
- Clear communication with excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders while juggling multiple projects end-to-end
- Broad exposure to initiatives supporting typical customer journeys through Marketing, Sales, Service and Product Support
- Proven ability to propose and implement innovative solutions to create efficiencies, automate workflow, and enhance the customer experience.
