At Agilent, we're seeking for a dedicated scientist to develop and adapt NGS workflows for Agilent's automation platforms For joining this team, previous experience with automated protocol development for molecular biology applications, especially next generation sequencing is desired. Familiarity with NGS data analysis is a plus. In this role, you will be a key link between R&D and our field organization to enable large projects using automation. Main Responsibilities Contribute to the development of groundbreaking library prep and target enrichment solutions for NGS with a focus on lab automation. Work with a cross-functional team to create new products and instrumentation with applications for cancer research and diagnostics. Works with product division R&D staff to transfer results of research into Agilent products. Typically contributes to scientific or research literature and conferences Create protocols on automation platforms Support development of automated genomics protocols and the internal use of automation as we increase our throughput needs for clinical NGS applications.
