Job description

We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Maintenance Technician at our headquarters in Santa Maria, Ca. If you have a passion for excellence and would like to join a stable and growing company then we'd like to talk to you.

The Maintenance Technician plans, coordinates and performs activities concerned with development, design, construction, modification and maintenance of equipment, machinery and facilities. This position establishes standards and policies for installation, modification, testing, operating procedure, inspection and maintenance of major systems and production equipment according to engineering principles and safety regulations. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: performs and documents preventive maintenance and repairs on plant support equipment and processing systems which include steam boiler, pumping equipment, purified water system, compressed air supply system, electrical motors, autoclaves, reactors, plate lines, HVAC and air handling systems. Reads and interprets building plans, equipment schematics, construction design plans and related documents. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work from a ladder. A two year certificate from a college or trade school and one year of related experience; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
