We're also actively working to combat the spread of COVID-19 through new programs like Healthy at Work.
The Verily People Operations team is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner who will be responsible for executing our organizational and people-related strategy as well as partnering with Verily's leaders and employees.
You'll be an emerging business partner who is interested in learning the multidisciplinary nature of business partnering. You will have had exposure to various parts of HR before, and enough confidence and experience to make decisions, offer thought partnership, and/or escalate within the BP team accordingly. You'll work with a cross-functional group of subject matter experts to respond to inquiries and direct answers regarding how we hire, onboard, develop, motivate, retain and organize. In our hands-on culture, you'll have the opportunity to work side-by-side with teams across Verily to get things done, including rolling out key programs such as workforce planning, compensation, performance management, and talent development. This role requires working collaboratively, strong communication, a heightened attention to detail, superb organization, and collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced with change management and is comfortable operating in an organization that is growing quickly.
We are a dynamic and fast paced organization so are looking for a colleague who is excited about learning the HR function, trying new things, thinking outside the box, and offering a creative yet efficient approach to people programs. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how work is done. You are scrappy and resourceful, creative and driven. This role will appeal to those wanting to work in a startup culture.
