The Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned contract Talent Acquisition consultant that will develop and execute recruiting strategies that result in hiring top-tier, qualified employees who will continue to enhance insitro's culture and overall success.
- You will partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and to define unique search parameters; provide market insights, intelligence and talent analytics that support or guide talent recruitment strategies
- Strategically identify talent-rich recruitment sources and build pipelines of top talent
- Closely manage applicant flow by reviewing, dispositioning, and advancing applicant resumes in a timely manner
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, pre-screen candidates and deliver pre-qualified diverse candidates to hiring managers
- Ensure recruitment efforts are conducted in a manner that is unbiased and compliant with all policies and legislation, in addition to following best practices for applicant tracking, interviewing and hiring Interview candidates and facilitate/participate in the selection decision process
- Partner with hiring managers to identify roles of the interview team, assign competencies/areas of focus using both technical and behavioral interviewing models
- Grow existing network, foster new relationships and attend networking events to further identify talent for the organization
- Partner with other functions to attract and hire talent that will help to sustain and contribute to insitro's culture
- Provide weekly and ad hoc updates to the talent acquisition team, hiring managers and leadership as needed
- Participate in the selection of outside search partners, where necessary
- Partner with the Head of TA, hiring managers and other relevant leaders to make recommendations on job offers, obtain necessary approvals and facilitate offers to candidates
- Assist with the development and enhancement of special programs and initiatives such as the creation of roll-out of a comprehensive recruitment process, development of applicant tracking system workflows, brand recognition development, interview training, employee referral programs and diversity and inclusion efforts
About You
- You will have a minimum of 10+ years in-house recruitment experience, with 5+ years having been focused in the Biopharma industry.
- Additional experience with Engineering and high tech recruitment is highly desirable
- Broad understanding of Pharma and Biotech industry
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
- You have expertise using social media tools such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Hiretual etc.
- You have a proven track record of finding unique ways to source and attract qualified candidates
- You have superior selection skills and a high level of efficiency in assessing individuals.
- You have strong business acumen, with the ability to communicate effectively with leaders across the organization
- You have demonstrated success in building relationships internally and externally, with highly developed persuasion, influencing, negotiation and consulting skillsYou are results driven with an ability to demonstrate and quantify success relative to established targets and metrics
- You have exceptional emotional intelligence, with strong listening, facilitation and communication skills
- You thrive in team environments, have a sense of urgency, and are able to manage time effectively and efficiently
