The Specifics:
• Progressive training program with a dedicated mentor (you're new battle buddy)
• Route/activity: Truck drivers are responsible for picking up product and/or delivering product to customers. {Please include number of average stops, average miles, within 'x' miles radius, the type of product they will be picking up and/or delivering to whom and what equipment will they be using to load and/or unload the product. Indicate if driver will pick up vendor backhauls.}
• Shift: {What shifts will the drivers be required to work. Please include days and shift hours}
• Equipment: 24' & 36' straight trucks {Make modifications as necessary}
• Compensation: Hourly, mileage or activity base pay {How and how much will the driver be paid?}
Main Responsibilities:
• Driving your assigned truck safely and responsibly
• Following all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Reporting problems with your truck, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before and after route
• Acting as the main point of contact with your customer

General Requirements:
• Separated from the military in the last 12 months
• CDL Class A acquired in the last 12 months
• No commercial driving experience required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Excellent customer service skills
• Reliable
• Focused on safety
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education and criminal history) and drug screening required
