Portfolio Analyst
Reporting to the Portfolio Planning and Execution leader within the Capability Planning and Realization area of Facebook, this position works closely with cross functional project teams to create a strong culture of project management and delivery of strategic projects and innovation

Job Responsibilities

  • Project input and quality control in project management
  • Provide support to the Portfolio Planning and Execution leader and occasionally to departments to improve and track project management
  • Ensure data quality and completeness of project information, documents and tools
  • Provide project analysis and metrics
  • Support in monitoring and ensuring the stability of the portfolio of projects and identify eventual bottlenecks and insights to drive the successful delivery of the portfolio
  • Elaborate reports and presentations (eg, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, PPT) and facilitate the consolidation of project dashboards
  • Review processes in place and propose new ideas to improve efficiency
  • Support in the definition of project key project indicators (KPI) and tracking of those KPIs
  • Ad hoc project coordination or follow-up upon need
  • Accompany the Portfolio Planning and Execution leader to the use of best practices, methods and project management tools and methodologies defined by Facebook
Required Skills:
  • IT project portfolio experience
  • Business Analyst experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to cleanly and concisely visualize and create metrics to portray goals and progress - especially using Tableau
  • Presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work with, influence and have an impact on cross functional teams
  • Technically savvy
  • Comfortable to work in a changing, fast paced environment
  • Creative mindset
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and can be flexible in approach
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Certification in project management is a plus
