Job Description

The FP&A Global Monetization team delivers visibility and predictability across LinkedIn's financial performance, ensuring optimal capital and resource allocation towards our highest priority areas. The team is looking for a motivated individual with a strong financial analysis background to build an array of models and analyses to improve LinkedIn's financial reporting, forecasting, and planning processes as well as provide insights to senior leadership to influence decision making. This role is at the intersection of strategy and finance-identifying and solving business problems with data-backed solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key partner to FP&A managers and other stakeholders to build & provide strategic financial insights and recommendations
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain financial/operational models, datasets, and dashboards to monitor performance and analyze business drivers
  • Develop, implement, and scale models and processes to automate and streamline financial analyses and processes across LinkedIn's businesses and regions
  • Own and review financial models to ensure they are both accurate and updated
  • Work with our Strategic Analytics team to turn data into actionable insights
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of financial analysis experience in a high-growth environment
  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with SaaS-based business models
  • Understanding of accounting theory and practice (e.g., basic revenue recognition rules, accruals, company capitalization policies and proper expense timing)
  • Strong systems skills with a preference toward SQL, PowerBI, Tableau
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); expert Excel modeling skills strongly preferred
Additional Information

As required by C.R.S.
  • 8-5-201(2): (Colorado only) The minimum pay for this role is $80,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
