Job description

As a Lab Technician you will perform physical testing on product and materials for our Aerospace sealants and polymers. In addition, you will accomplish all testing required to validate production hardware meets all end customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform in-process testing to ensure product acceptability
* Ensure procedures and reports related to laboratory work are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
* Use laboratory equipment to perform tests for viscosity, flow, cure, hardness, density or other physical tests.
* Maintain a clean and safe lab working environment and ensure that laboratory is efficient and meets delivery schedules
* Provide prompt and satisfactory customer service to internal customers.
* Participate in 5S activities and support the Quality Management System

Qualifications:

* Experience with plastics, primers, coatings, and composites a plus
* Eagerness to working in an industrial environment and capable of executing against established processes and standards
* Ability to prioritize, and proactively communicate status updates.
* Attention to detail and consistent follow through are needed to succeed in this role
* Ability to operate and maintain laboratory instruments.
* Computer competencies, including Excel and Word
* Ability to work any overtime as required
* Able to lift and carry up to 35 pound product test samples
