This system starts and stops with Jarvis OS, 3DEO's proprietary software backbone. Jarvis imports CAD models and uses in-house computational geometry to convert them into digital work instructions for 3D printers and robotic automation. It then monitors and controls the manufacturing process from end-to-end, using real-time feedback to drive efficiency and reduce overhead. We've shipped over 1 Million parts in three years and are poised to ship well over that number in 2022.

The Position:

The Business Development Rep (BDR) position is a great fit for highly motivated individuals looking for a fast growing company where they can directly impact growth and revenue. An effective BDR will be an excellent communicator-in email and over the phone - with superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone or in a virtual presentation over the internet, as well as dealing with frequent customer objections. The goal of the BDR team is to directly impact 3DEO's growth by identifying new customers and bringing good fit projects and decision makers to the account executives.

Specifically, the Business Development Rep will:

  • Contact potential clients through outbound call and email campaigns
  • Make 40-60 cold calls a day clearly communicating 3DEO's value propositions
  • Send 40-60 emails a day with high levels of personalization and efficient call to actions
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Demonstrate to customers an understanding of their needs and how 3DEO's manufacturing solutions impact their revenue
  • Clearly explain the differences between our technology and competitive manufacturing techniques
  • Organize and set up online meetings or calls between prospective customers and account executives
  • Identify customer needs and record key qualifying criteria to allow the account executives to prepare their presentations
  • Demonstrate aptitude at managing short and long-term customer relationships with efficient handoffs when relevant
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

Qualifications & Experience

An undergraduate degree is preferred but not required. The Business Development Rep will ideally have 0-3+ years of experience in a sales role or role requiring effective communication internally and externally.

In addition, the successful candidate is preferred to have:

  • Experience and knowledge of manufacturing
  • Experience with consultative selling, and capable of articulating strategic value propositions
  • Hands-on experience with modern business development techniques
  • Track record of achieving quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (we use Hubspot, Salesforce, and Salesloft)
  • Understanding of business development metrics, dashboards, and reports
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to consistently deliver engaging phone presentations

Has a collegial, inclusive working style and is professional and courteous. Builds strong relationships both internally and externally. Is able to balance results and relationships to drive performance.
