Pay Rate: $19/hr

Shift: Mon- Fri

Duration: ASAP - 3/12/22

Location: On-Site

**Description:**

+ The SPE Lab Technician is responsible for testing and inspecting Solid Phase Extraction SPE material to determine if the material passes or fails applicable product specifications.

+ The Technician will perform pre-production verification, in-process testing and final product approval.

+ When material fails specification, the individual must stop production, quarantine material, and follow non-conforming material procedures.

+ The Technician must be able to reference specification, procedures, and forms in our Document Management System.

+ They must understand ERP functions and maintain data integrity by accurately recording all test results, process, and inventory transactions.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Perform pre-production inspection and verification of Production work areas and raw materials Perform SPE raw material testing to determine if material meets specifications

+ Monitor Production area to ensure compliance with Quality Management Procedures Perform flow tests, dye tests, etc. to monitor equipment and process performance

+ Record test data in Microsoft AX, on Production Orders as log books as required.

+ Report failing test data and actions taken

+ Apply Lean principles to work, including maintaining a 5S Work Station

+ Follow all Safety and Personal Protective Equipment requirements

**Education:**

+ High School Diploma Required - (Four-year college degree preferred)

+ Analytical thinking and ability to make decisions required

+ Ability to perform basic mathematical equations required.

+ Ability to use Microsoft Excel preferred

+ Knowledge of chemical hygiene and safety experience preferred.

+ Knowledge of ISO 9001, cGMP, AQL, SPC and GDP preferred

+ Ability to wear a respirator and pass a Pulmonary Function test required
