Job Description:

Client is looking for an Enterprise Application (EA) Manager or Director with deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and related business applications.

This role will support the design and implementation of key financial applications and will report directly to the CFO. This person will be a highly qualified and highly motivated Cloud Integration Architect with hands-on experience in using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The EA Manager will be responsible for administering Client's OCI platform and building and supporting integrations between various related business systems as well as other disparate systems (e.g. Revenue / Billing, Banks, other) to our financial system Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion).

This is a user facing role where the EA Manager should be able to work with business stakeholders directly

What You'll Do:

Experience in the full implementation lifecycle of at least one Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP project

A minimum of 3 years of experience implementing some combination of Oracle Financials applications such as: General Ledger (GL), Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Treasury, EBTax, Advanced Global Intercompany Systems (AGIS), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Invoice modules, Oracle Inventory, Cost Accounting & Management Cloud, etc

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience in Oracle Inventory Management or Oracle Cost Accounting. Knowledge of Oracle MES is a plus

Functional design and deep understanding of General Ledger (GL), Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Projects billing and costing, Cash Management, procure to Pay (P2P), Inventory management and Cost Accounting

Lead in mapping business requirements to the base product functionality to present a product fit. Lead and oversee complex functional analysis and review the solution overview, functional designs, technical designs, testing activities, configuration, user acceptance procedures, release management, system administration and production support within the project. Overall contributor to deliver a fully functioning solution to the business

Perform feasibility analysis on future potential project efforts and technology roadmaps. Investigate benefits and drawbacks of innovative strategies, technologies, processes, and products. Present strategies, technical research, architecture, and best practices at internal technical conferences

Help with cut-over activities: Define security roles, user creation, configuration, code migration, data conversion execution for INT, UAT and go-live milestones

Provide direction on integration architectures, data management, custom application development, and reporting

Manage quality assurance through discipline in test planning, test execution, user acceptance and release management

Define and implement business application team policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines

Manage 3rd party application services or consulting services including identifying service needs, scoping projects, evaluating vendors, and overseeing project execution

Support leadership functions including annual planning, budgeting, status reporting, executive presentations, and continuous improvement

Implement and manage application-related key controls, information security, compliance processes and ongoing audit support in collaboration with IT team

What You'll Have:

Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant major

5+ years of experience with Oracle Financial cloud (aka Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials), procurement cloud and overall 3+ years of deep experience in corporate finance area

Experience in implementation of ERP applications for manufacturing companies

5+ years of experience in the automotive industry or other manufacturing industry

Experience in inventory management with barcode implementation

Direct, hands-on experience managing full manufacturing cycles

Technical knowledge and experience with engineering drawings, BOMs and PLM release process

Proven ability to successfully introduce innovative ideas in process and product, and demonstrated experience collaborating with teams to resolve complex challenges at all levels of an organization

Deep understanding of GAAP including inventory and cost accounting principles

Outstanding execution skills with ability to deliver on strategic concepts using rigorous methodologies and effective project management

Hands-on, collaborative working style with a heavy focus on business engagement

Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work autonomously

Ability to articulate value-based solutions to complex business problems

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Ability to craft and deliver presentations to senior business executives

Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects

What is the base salary and OTE for this role? Market-based (competitive comp package)

What are requirements for onsite vs. remote? If onsite, will be out of Torrance? 100% onsite (Torrance)

Are we looking for someone with hands on ability to configure / support the applications or someone to manage the applications and use in-house resources or consultants? à Hands-on is a priority (i.e. ability to configure)

Is Fusion experience mandatory (unless the resource is doing configuration type work you may miss out on some good talent) à Yes mandatory
