**Job Title** : Chemist

**Pay range** : $26.50 per hour

**Shift:** Mon-Friday 1st shift, some flexibility around 830am-530pm shift

**Covid Vaccine required.**

**Job Description:**

Kelly is seeking a motivated, creative, detail-oriented chemist with excellent problem solving and communication skills for our client's chemical product development lab. Our client's work spans multiple industries, primarily focusing on green technology and the environment.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Perform R&D experiments for chemical product development

+ Design and perform product application testing for multiple client and company projects

+ Prepare and submit reports on work performed

+ Perform analytical testing on formulas and chemical processes

+ Work, learn and grow in a wet chemistry lab setting, most importantly able to wear many hats.

+ Assist with laboratory operation and maintenance

**Job Requirements:**

+ Minimum of a BS degree in chemistry or a closely related field(Material sciences etc.)

+ 1-2 years of laboratory experience

+ Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

+ High attention to detail and quality of work, Safe and strong with solution chemistry

+ Motivated and possess' the aptitude to learn and enjoys performing in various roles in a small startup environment.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously

+ Experience with chemical product formulation and analytical techniques including GC and LC is a plus but not required

+ Open to fresh grads too.
