Job description
Responsibilities
This role is the primary technology liaison between the Home Entertainment business and engineering teams for the delivery of IT capabilities and support of the application portfolio. This position combines knowledge of the Media -amp; Entertainment industry along with expertise in software development and is an integral member of the Technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with Home Entertainment business teams with a primary focus on marketing and creative services departments. Responsibilities also include collaborating with other business teams both within NBCU and externally.
- Learn and understand functional processes with the ability to independently analyze the data and technology requirements to support them
- Conduct business requirements and design discussions and workshops based on business needs and objectives
- Create IT design specifications using use case format, workflows, wireframes, modeling, and related methods as needed
- Partner with engineering and IT development teams on the delivery of application enhancements and introduction of new applications to modernize the portfolio
- Manage the implementation of application releases on all Home Entertainment applications on the Salesforce platform. Responsible for coordinating activities and resources across the software development lifecycle.
- Create training documentation for new system enhancements and deliver user training sessions to support knowledge transfer and user adoption of system updates
- Serve at the primary IT contact and technical owner for day-to-day operational activities including issue analysis, documentation -amp; prioritization, defect management, and testing

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in an IT business analyst role with responsibilities covering the technical development and support for applications
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce.com platform or Salesforce Lightning framework
- Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the comfort to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Deep understanding of IT project management SDLC processes and methodologies, such as Agile Scrum and Waterfall along with associated best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather information from multiple sources and articulate technical recommendations and a point-of-view for key decisions
- Ability to learn new technologies with a desire to have hands-on experience implementing solutions with an understanding of the business value that it provides

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Salesforce Developer or Administrator certification
- Experience with Jira and Smartsheet
- Functional knowledge of Home Entertainment or packaged media industry
- Experience with marketing vertical and knowledge of KPIs used to measure performance and effectiveness
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work on assigned tasks independently, leveraging team members and resources as necessary
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teams across varying time zones
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
