Job Summary

The Vice President plays a key role in developing and implementing strategic growth initiatives. Identifies, explores and executes on opportunities consistent with such initiatives, collaborating closely with a number of individuals and departments within the organization, including but not limited to the executive leadership team, service line leaders, and physicians, Physician Practice Management, Marketing and Finance. Includes developing and implementing strategies to increase collaboration and alignment of HMNH and the physician community to drive growth and improved performance.

Education:

* Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree
* Master of Sciences Degree (MHA, MBA or related field) is preferred

Experience:

* Minimum of ten (10) years progressive leadership experience in the healthcare field, preferably in an acute healthcare setting.
* Prior business development experience
* Must have practical working knowledge with the areas listed above.

Knowledge and Skills:

* Ability to successfully manage complex change initiatives in a healthcare environment.
* Must be a strategic and visionary leader that takes initiative, has the stamina, emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills to operate strategically and effectively. oversee the tactics in order to help drive and achieve differentiating business results.
* Successful track record of innovation and business development.
* Ability to consistently manage numerous high priority projects and delegate appropriately.
* Ability to negotiate effectively with external agencies and organizations.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and organizational skills are a must in order to achieve desired business goals and performance metrics.
* Ability to interact with all levels of the organization including management, physicians, hospital Board of Directors and public groups.
* Be an active, effective executive team member and leader with proven written and verbal communications abilities.
* Ability to analyze organizational needs to develop appropriate strategic, business and communication plans.
* Must possess the ability to work in a collaborative, team oriented structure.
