Job description

Volt has an amazing opportunity for an Eligibility Clerk III for an established client in the Tulare area. The pay ranges from $3, 622 to $4, 403/month depending on experience. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a company that offers a competitive benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, dental, 401K, PTO, paid holidays, and sick days!

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Interviews applicants for housing and multiple assistance programs
• Processes applications and verifies eligibility/housing of applicants
• Determines residents' eligibility for continued occupancy
• Calculates/establishes rent
• Processes resident re-examinations
• Verifies statements of residents and others
• Assembles a variety of information from several sources
• Interprets and updates information into computer
• Explains conditions of occupancy
• Establishes and maintains various files
• Compiles and prepares statistical reports
• Performs other related work as required

Qualifications:

• Two years of general clerical experience
• Prior experience in a comparable role
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
• Proficient with MS Office programs
• Ability to pass a drug and background check
