SD&A currently has an opening for an Electronics Technician position. This opportunity will allow you to highlight your ability to construct, test, calibrate and troubleshoot a variety of highly complex electronic systems. This will require someone who is able to work with little supervision, and still provide quality product in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and test equipment to drawings, schematics and procedures.

  • Follow all Leidos policies and procedures in order to stay ISO compliant.

  • Work with engineering to troubleshoot and recommend solutions to any non-conforming material or tests

  • Be cognizant of the Master Schedule in order to meet the customer needs and requirements

  • Perform data analysis and write technical reports

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Well-organized, reliable, attention to detail, demonstrated personal initiative. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate work with others. Good oral and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office and MS Power Point.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and keep a Forklift operator license

  • Familiar with electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Digital Multi-meters, frequency generators etc.

  • Experience with assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
