Job description

United Business Bank is looking for an Experienced Loan Service Supervisor for an in person role in our Walnut Creek Corporate Headquarters. (Located across from the BART station).

POSITION PURPOSE

The Loan Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day functions and responsibilities of the Loan Service Department and related personnel. The position is responsible for ensuring the efficient, effective and accurate performance of all Loan Service related functions including loan boarding, advances, disbursements, payment processing, payoffs, and loan file maintenance, in accordance to policy, procedures and regulatory requirements. The Loan Service Supervisor will be the primary resource providing team and clients with problem solving solutions. The Loan Service Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that clients are served promptly, courteously, efficiently and professionally.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

1. Assumes responsibility for supervising the Loan Service Department and related personnel.

2. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with clients, staff, and executive management.

3. Assumes responsibility for other related duties as required or assigned.

4. Assumes Responsibility for following all bank policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines, and for attending all required training.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: High School Graduate, Associates Degree in related field preferred.

Required Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Loan Service Department policies and procedures. Thorough understanding of banking regulations and standard banking practices.

Experience Required: Previous supervisory experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Lending or Loan Servicing environment.

Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills.

Professional appearance, dress and attitude.

Good math skills.

Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.

Ability to operate standard office equipment including computer, adding machine, copy machine, encoder, fax machine, and telephone.
