Overview And Summary

The Pet Distribution Business is seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, finance manager to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. You will lead the planning cycles for Pet Distribution and evolve existing processes and tools to drive cross-functional engagement and create capacity to help drive improved business performance. To be successful in the role, you will need a proven track record of strong cross-functional partnership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage through ambiguity.

Measures Of Success

  • Manage the financial planning cycles, consolidate financial results, communicate key business insights and quantify risk and opportunities to achieve our financial goals
  • Collaborate with the head of warehouse and distribution and the head of sales to evolve KPI driven forecast and support key initiatives and business case development
  • Consult with other cross-functional business partners to provide thought leadership and financial support
  • Support the launch of a new inventory planning system, including thought leadership on designing vendor and category level guardrails
Ideal Candidate Attributes
  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting required; MBA, CPA, and/or CFA a plus
  • 5 + years professional work experience in Corporate Finance, preferably FP&A
  • Strong GAAP accounting knowledge
  • Detail-oriented, but able to see the big picture
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with a senior management team
  • Technically savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Hyperion Essbase, and Tableau
  • Ability to travel to Pet Distribution locations
