Sr. Front End Software Engineer - Fintech - up to $200k

Hollywood, CA (you can work from home up to 2x/week)

The company is founded by several serial entrepreneurs with a track record of success. One of the founders is the founder of a rapidly growing fintech unicorn that was recently valued at several billion dollars.

The company has 6 employees including 3 engineers, and they are rapidly growing the engineering team.

The company's product is a lending marketplace.

The company will pay up to $200k, plus equity which could be very lucrative.

Job Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the CTO.

- Primarily using React.js, Redux, TypeScript, and GraphQL.

- Ideally you'll be about 80% front end and 20% backend. Depending on your preference, you could be anywhere from 70-100% front end.

- Building out an elegant website with modern technologies.

- The position will be web-focused, but you can expect to contribute to the Node.js backend as well and will potentially be owning and building out entire pieces of the fintech platform from end to end.

- Build entirely new services in a greenfield industry.

- Helping to define the direction and culture of the company.

Qualifications:

- Strong in React.

- 5+ years of experience building complex, data-driven websites.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have:

- Experience in fintech.

- Experience with React.

- Experience with TypeScript.

- Startup experience.
