Job description

Responsibilities and Duties •Administer and assist in the development and implementation of various human resources policies and procedures for all company personnel •Assure Company policies are administered fairly and consistently throughout the area of responsibility •Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance. •Assist in recruiting for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; conduct new-hire orientations •Assist in implement training and development plans for employees, supervisors, managers, and department heads •Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of Human Resource files and records •Handle employee motivational activities for the company, such as holiday parties, company luncheon, holiday events, etc. with management approval. •Other HR duties assigned as needed Qualifications Required •Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. •5+ year(s) of experience as an HR generalist or an equivalent combination of education and experience •Thorough knowledge of CA employment-related laws and regulations including FLSA, EEO/AA, ADA, Workers? Compensation regulations, DFEH, EEOC, FMLA and CFRA. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. •Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. •Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. •Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. •US Resident AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
