A successful Pharmaceutical Lab is looking to add an experienced professional in the role of BIOINFORMATICS SCIENTIST or ENGINEER, with a proven track record of impeccable performance, to their team!

Responsibilities:

• Analyze DNA information and identify opportunities and needs for innovative solutions
• Mange some of the processes involved in database design, interface design, and information processing
• Initiation and management of external relationships and collaborations with academic and commercial parties
• Development of software and custom scripts to automate data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis

Skills:

• An excellent team player
• Programing languages like C/C++, Perl, SQL, HTML, and JAVA
• Knowledge of mixed operating systems and environments (Unix, Sybase, Oracle, Etc).
• Knowledge of public domain bioinformatics data sources
• Sequence assembly tools and gene analysis software experience is preferred

Requirements:

• Medical degree, MD with specialized training in Oncology
• MS or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Statistics, Biochemistry, Mathematics or Molecular Biology
• 4+ years of experience in the industry
