Retirement Participant Contributions Processing / 401k Loan Specialist

Our client, Empower Retirement, is seeking a contract Retirement Participant Contributions Processing Specialist. The Contributions Processor is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of retirement plan payroll contributions, participant loans, and incoming rollovers. This a six-month contract position that will start remote then work onsite in 2021.

Job Summary:

  • Accurately and efficiently process employee payroll contributions and loan payments into our proprietary system

  • Strive for a high level of quality, maintaining department standards of productivity and quality

  • Research, analyze and process assigned tasks in accordance with departmental policies and procedures

  • Resolve issues with contributions by communicating with internal Client Service Managers or external clients/payroll providers

  • Knowledge of the retirement plan industry rules and regulations

    Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred, or 1-2 years equivalent work experience in cash/financial field

  • Retirement or Financial Services preferred

  • Ability to work independently as a self-motivated individual contributor

  • Must be detailed oriented and have analytical ability for in-depth research

  • Able to make quick and accurate assessments of complex situations

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • FINRA fingerprinting upon hire

  • Overtime required - flexibility to work overtime daily as needed

  • Six-month contract commitment
