The Opportunity

Davis Development seeks an experienced Real Estate professional who will support the land acquisition opportunities for development of Class A multifamily communities located in the Colorado and Arizona areas.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Oversee the entitlement process for multiple apartment projects in Colorado and Arizona

· Assemble and manage a team of consultants

· Coordinate with key internal and external teams

· Manage consultant contracts and approve invoices

· Provide support for new land acquisitions, including land research, market analysis and preparation of budgets, fees estimates and financial proformas

· Assist with due diligence+ efforts on land acquisitions, including review of property documents and coordination of third-party studies

( due diligence activities such as sales comps, title, survey, zoning and entitlement processes, etc., as required)

· Assist with the inspection and potential acquisition opportunities and their surroundings, and conduct preliminary research to ascertain zoning and development status to ensure multifamily use and any market specific site requirements (parking, height, design criteria, etc.)

Qualifications/ Candidate Skills

· Minimum three years' Real Estate experience

· Familiarity with zoning and subdivision regulations and land use approval processes

· Knowledge of the assigned territory is a strong plus

· Self-starter and results oriented

· Ability to work with minimal supervision

· Experience with land planning and entitlements is a huge plus

· Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

· Creative thinking and attention to detail

· Ability to multi-task and problem solve.

· Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license

· Bachelor's degree

· All other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
