The CSI Companies is hiring a Manager-Banking Instructor for a leading not-for-profit organization located in Denver, CO on a Direct Hire basis!


Title of Job: Manager-Banking Instructor

Salary: $50k-$55k

Hours: Full Time - Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, nights and weekends could be needed during events.

Location: Denver, CO. On-site in the office


Position Summary: The Manager-Banking Instructor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program; this includes, but is not limited to budgeting, meeting goals, staff oversight, staff training & development, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, hiring new staff, business development tasks, etc. The Manager will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a finance work skills-based class to be delivered to a youth and adult population who possess multiple barriers to gaining and maintaining employment.


Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Manages all activities related to successfully implementing and operating the program.

• Coordinates all outreach activities to recruit participants for the program, directs outreach activities for outreach staff positions.

• Provides input and manages the annual budget for the program.

• Oversees all aspects of support staff associated with the program including, performance reviews, hiring, professional development, etc.

• Develops strong relationships with banks, other financial services organizations, job placement agencies, organizations serving veterans/transitioning military and spouses, community organizations and faith-based organizations, parent colleges, social media, and all other avenues that can serve as a source for program participants.

• Schedules multiple training sessions and all activities, (outreach, screening, training, and placing) for 8 sessions a year and planning 4 graduation ceremonies and hiring events for graduates.

• Teaches the eight-week curriculum to program participants on a regularly scheduled basis with a focus on Banking Tellers and Customer Service skills.

• Coordinates all class site visits with banking partners, banking speakers, volunteers, and placement staff to provide a successful training session.

• Oversees the coordination of the quarterly meeting with partner banks.

• Assists Marketing Communication Department in meeting revenue goals.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Education preferred
  • 5+ years experience in banking or finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience training or educating employees and staff.
