Title: Sr. Executive Assistant

Our client is a leading real estate investment management firm with offices in Denver, CO.


Position Summary

Primary partner to the CEO in managing day-to-day functions and administrative duties; liaise with other employees and external business partners on behalf of the CEO. Additional duties include light administrative support to the Special Assistant and special department projects, as needed.



Role and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with and provide high level confidential executive assistance to the CEO to assist him in leveraging his time to achieve goals, priorities, and objectives
  • Use sound judgment, proactive thinking and personal knowledge of executives' goals and needs to coordinate and organize complex business activities such as travel, meetings, conferences, and department events
  • Coordinate and efficiently manage executive's daily calendars and schedules by communicating and problem-solving daily with teammates, clients, vendors and other stakeholders
  • Supports expense planning and processing for CEO
  • Work closely with the other assistants and support personnel, as needed, to drive day-to-day assignment and special initiative logistics
  • Prepare general correspondence, memos, presentations, demonstrative materials, business plans, and the like; proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout while making appropriate changes; Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copies and communications
  • Troubleshoot and support CEO technology needs
  • Conduct and plan meetings with efficient agendas; seamlessly and proactively aid in facilitating team communications
  • Represent the CEO with knowledge and integrity in communications and interactions with guests, clients, vendors, and other corporate stakeholders
  • Maintains superior organization of highly confidential business, personal paperwork and personnel records
  • Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, often in combination with travel


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Must have 10+ years of experience supporting executives in a corporate environment
  • Financial services or professional services experience desired



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work and be "on call" nights, weekends and holidays
  • Excellent attention to detail, judgment, and dependability, including the ability to meet deadlines
  • Well-organized and self-directed; ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinker; able to make sound decisions through exercise of discretion, critical thinking about senior executive needs, and appropriate questions
  • Technically capable, excellent written and oral communicator, natural desire to improve processes
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Box, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional presentation
  • Demonstrated sense of process ownership; high level of situational awareness
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
  • Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders
