Senior Manager, Perception & Computer Vision

Job description

My client is one of the leading players in the Autonomous Driving industry. Their niche specialism has established themselves as a powerhouse in an otherwise lucrative industry.

Together, we are looking for a Senior Manager on the Perception team to help support the Director of Perception's efforts leading the team of 10 (with plans to grow to 15+ by end of Q1 2022). They want someone who is ready to get their hands dirty, lead from the front, whilst building out an efficient team and run it whichever way you'd like.

From a technical standpoint, this person will ideally have:

• Industry experience designing and testing perception algorithms.
• 5-8 years of production level C++, Python is a bonus.
• Experience with ROS (1 or 2).
• Meaningful perception experience; LiDAR, Radar, or Cameras (priorities in that order).
• Education flexible; MS preferred, PhD a bonus.

The emphasis is higher on the technical side than the managerial side, so if the managerial side is a deal breaker, there is some flexibility. This is a great opportunity to have a strong impact on the direction of the company and help support the Director of Perception as a leader of the team and overall business.
