Description Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to work in the Pharmaceutical industry, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary position based in the Boulder, Colorado area. Do you thrive in an energetic, team-oriented environment? What you get to do every single day

- Support Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing

- Broadcast financial information to journals and ledgers

- Mend discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

- Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

- Group documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

- Contribute to Accounts Receivable: help with collection of past due balance, process daily invoices/credit, and apply cash receipt

- Compose statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources Requirements - Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested

- Deep understanding of Microsoft Great Plains Accounting

- General familiarity with journal entries

- Bank reconciliations experience preferred

- Demonstrated knowledge of general ledger

- Adeptness in Daily Cash Management

- Great Plains (GPAC) experience

- Experience with cash management

- Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics experience desired

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
