Job description

ColdQuanta would like to hear from physics majors who are self-motivated, energetic individuals, with a strong desire to learn.

* Assist building and running Quantum Computers based on neutral atoms

* Perform measurements and analyze data per defined and less defined procedures
* Perform subset of subsystem assembly steps (installing and testing commercial equipment)
* Perform logistical tasks (purchasing, vendor interaction)
* Assembly, and testing of laser and optical systems
* Participate in Research and Development projects for laser systems, etc for Quantum Computers
* Contribute to design, procedures, documentation, processes

* Learn science and technology of quantum computing, atomic physics, lasers, optics, vacuum, electronics, opto-mechanics, mechanics
* Onboard and train new UGAs

Requirements

* Know foundational elements of physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, information technology
* Ability to learn
* Ability to communicate concisely and accurately
* Solve basic physics problems systematically
* Solve basic math and statistics problems systematically
* Solve basic information technology problems systematically

We'd love it if you also:

* Build stuff hands-on
* Engineer and develop software

This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
