Nothrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Product Trainer/Principal Product Trainer in Boulder, CO. The successful candidate needs to be experienced with the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) framework for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating (ADDIE) learning systems. Select appropriate instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstration-performance, problem-based learning, student-centered learning, and guided discussion. Support, build, and promote a positive and collaborative culture across all teams. Develop and maintain expert level knowledge. Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment. The selected candidate will become a member of the Boulder Specialty Engineering team specializing in the areas of Education and Training, Technical Orders (TO), and Human Factors Engin eering (HFE) for the Space Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS) fixed and mobile platforms. Common instructional topics include Ground Control (GC), Mission Processing (MP), Mission Management (MM), and satellite Telemetry, Tracking, and Commanding (TT&C). Team members also represent Northrop Grumman to other aerospace defense companies and government personnel. Additional duties may be assigned commensurate with performance or due to business needs.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
This requisition may be filled as either a Product Trainer or a Principal Product Trainer.
Basic Qualifications for a Product Trainer:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of education and training experience -OR- Associate degree with 5 years of E&T experience OR- High School degree with 7 years of education and training experience Space operations experience in Mission Processing, Ground Control, Telemetry Tracking and Commanding, and/or Mission Management Familiarity with the ISD/ADDIE process
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Active DoD Secret clearance within the past 2 years with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
- Must have an active Background Investigation within the past 5 years.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Product Trainer:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of education and training experience -OR- Associate degree with 7 years of E&T experience OR- High School degree with 9 years of education and training experience Space operations experience in Mission Processing, Ground Control, Telemetry Tracking and Commanding, and/or Mission Management Familiarity with the ISD/ADDIE process
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Active DoD Secret clearance within the past 2 years with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
- Must have an active Background Investigation within the past 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with Learning Management Systems, Adobe Captivate, Doc-to-Help, and/or Articulate Storyline.
Salary Range: 61336 - 92004
Salary Range 2: 76032 - 114048
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
