Research Associate
Temp to Hire
$20-$32
$34-$36 (if you have an MS Degree)
We are looking for a Research Associate to work with our rapidly growing team to support the characterization and development of lentiviral drug product formulations. This individual will be a key contributor to define a formulation, determine a manufacturing process and to support clinical studies.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Execute studies to support the development of lentiviral formulations and supportive stability / clinical in-use studies
- Interacts cross-functionally within the process and product development (cell culture, purification, analytical)
- Works along with the senior researchers in planning, performing, analyzing, summarizing, reporting, and presenting technology transfer experiments.
- Supports all aspects of drug product development (formulation screening, stability, clinical in-use studies, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work on multiple projects
- Strong communication skills in technical writing and oral presentation
The successful candidate will have:
· BS or MS in Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, Bio/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities and maintain timelines for multiple activities
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to facilitate meetings
· Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with viruses a plus
- Prior experience with flow cytometry or cell-based assays a plus.
- Prior experience with biophysical assays a plus.
- A strong desire to develop own technical skill set
