Job description

ColdQuanta is growing fast! We are looking for an in-house Technical Recruiter who can identify, recruit, screen, and present outstanding candidates for quantum science, technology, and engineering roles (hardware and software) across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position needs
  • Manages the role requisition and job posting process
  • Serves as the subject matter expert on where and how to recruit the right candidates
  • Identifies, screens candidates and schedules interviews
  • Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers
  • Vets potential employees' credentials
  • Coaches hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates
  • Maintains a strong presence and network in the technical community
  • Serves as face of the company at job fairs and conferences
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Requirements

The person we're looking for will have this type of background:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite


Education and Experience
  • We expect the right candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a related technical and/or human resources field (if you have taken a different path, please apply and tell us about your recruiting journey!)
  • At least three years of related software and hardware engineering recruiting experience required, with prior experience in technical roles a plus
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred, especially with a TA credential!
