Job Purpose

Acuity is looking for an experienced Business Development sales person who has extensive experience in the selling into financial services (PE-VC and Alternative Investment Management) and/or corporate and Consulting sector in the Texas region. To be successful in this role you should have good understanding of the financial industry landscape especially PE-VC competitive landscape; understanding of the offshoring business and ideally an established network in the Texas market.

Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and strong negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to build and establish long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Prior experience of presenting and marketing to C-Suite management at clients or at senior levels within financial industry (PE and VC) and/or Corporates/Consulting is highly desirable. Experience in offshoring services would be added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Run high quality Enterprise sales cycles in Texas market with Portfolio managers, CFO, CXOs etch which includes:

o Identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients

o Leveraging existing client relationships and networks to generate commercial interest

o Qualification and generating demand at clients and prospects

o Creating compelling value propositions mapped to client business needs

o Negotiating and closing complex agreements with the CXOs

• Own sales quota to be attained by selling to new client accounts and by leveraging one's earlier relationships for selling high value added services to private equity, Venture Capital, Corporates and Consulting firms including

• Negotiate with COO/CXO level to build a broad vision of outsourcing and associated benefits

• Meet established revenue targets, while creating new and enhanced customer relationships and ensuring client satisfaction

• Position requires travel


Key Competencies

• Bachelors' degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics or related area is highly desirable.

· 7+ years of relevant work experience. Experience of selling to PE-VC/Corporates/Consulting firms is must.

· Experience of working with teams across geography would be preferred

· Prior experience with offshoring/outsourcing would be added advantage.

· Strong existing network in the Texas Market.

· Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach and ability to engage with senior business users, COO's, CIO's, Chief Credit Officers, CRO's, CCO's, Investment Managers, Strategy and Market insights team etc. Ability to influence these key decision makers during the full life cycle of the sales process

• Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience

• Experience in leading sales efforts, proposal development and closing deals

• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
