Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Program Cost/Schedule Control Analyst OR Sr Principal Program Cost/Schedule Control Analyst for our Huntsville, AL OR Colorado Springs, CO locations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Principal Program Cost/Schedule Control Analyst Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor 's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration , or related field with 5 years of Business Management experience OR a Master's degree as described above with 3 years of experience.

Prior related experience with financial analysis and Earned Value Management customer reporting

Strong PC skills required with high level Excel skills (including: the ability to insert pivot tables, v-lookup, and conditional formatting, etc.)

The ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret level security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Sr Principal Program Cost/Schedule Control Analyst Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor 's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration , or related field with 9 years of Business Management experience OR a Master's degree as described above with 7 years of experience.

Prior related experience with financial analysis and Earned Value Management customer reporting

Strong PC skills required with high level Excel skills (including: the ability to insert pivot tables, v-lookup, and conditional formatting, etc.)

The ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret level security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and analyze data

Experience preparing and presenting complex financial analysis to leadership

Experience with GAAP, as well as Government Financial accounting practices

Prior program cost control experience

Secret level security clearance or higher

Experience with Cobra and SAP

Familiarity with FAR/DFAR

Salary Range: 76000 - 114000
Salary Range 2: 94200 - 141400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
