The Business Analytics area of the Business School of the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for one full time tenure track Assistant Professor of Business Analytics. The start date for this position is August 2022.

Job responsibilities:

The successful candidate is expected to maintain a record of accomplishment with high-quality peer-reviewed published academic research in his/her field. The position consists of 40% teaching, 40% research, and 20% service. The normal teaching load consists of 4 courses per year. This is typically reduced to 3 courses during the initial years of the appointment. Classes may be on-campus, online, or in a hybrid format, depending on departmental or program needs. The successful candidate is expected to reside in the Denver metro area.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for an Assistant Professor is $132,000, $142,000.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

* A Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a terminal degree in a field closely related to Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a terminal degree in a field closely related to Business Analytics from an AACSB accredited (or equivalent) university prior to the position's start date.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred qualifications:

* Demonstrated effectiveness in research, as evidenced by publications in refereed journals, presentations at academic conferences, and/or other intellectual contributions.
* Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level, as supported by teaching experience (as an independent instructor or teaching assistant) and student evaluations.
