Job description

Seeking an ambitious and reliable Assistant Property Manager for a premium self-storage facility in Glendale. The ideal candidate is a customer service and sales professional, preferably with experience in self-storage, commercial or residential property rentals. Experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Job duties include:

  • Show and rent units to potential customers and assist with unit selection.
  • Answer phone and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Promptly respond to all customer requests and calls.
  • Process payments, make delinquency calls, and accurately note account updates in file.
  • Maintain accurate rental agreements and complete customer files.
  • All aspects of running an office including, but not limited to using computer software, maintaining hardware, following procedures, and printing/interpreting reports.
  • Perform light maintenance such as cleaning units, pulling weeds, sweeping, mopping and minor repairs.
  • Daily walk throughs and security checks of the property.
  • Follow opening/closing and daily operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawers and balance daily financial transactions.
  • Work closely with the Property Manager to serve customers and achieve facility goals.

This is a full-time position averaging 32 hours (4 day work week) at $16/hour with full benefits such as health, vision, dental, 401k match, and the opportunity to earn special bonuses.

You must be able to pass a complete background check, have a U.S. driver's license, a bank account for direct deposit, and be available to work weekends.
