Job Description

The Business Analyst II will work within their assigned sprint team to deliver product increments that span a variety of business functions, whether introducing operational improvements, furthering our technical capabilities, or enhancing our customer experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • The candidate will play a key role within their agile sprint team, working closely with the Product Owner, Engineering, and QA as well as UX/UI Designers and various stakeholders as needed to release product increments

  • Engage Product Owner and other internal stakeholders in gathering requirements to be documented across JIRA and Confluence

  • Assist in user research efforts alongside UX/UI Designers

  • Maintain their respective product backlog through user story creation and refinement

  • Implement methods to capture success metrics as identified by the Product Owner

  • Participate in all sprint events (sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives)

  • Assist with user testing as needed in the delivery of one or more product increments per sprint.

  • Contribute to release notes and other support collateral to the appropriate business departments as part of release rollout


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred


SKILLS EXPERIENCE

  • 5-8 years' experience working on B2B or B2B2C, SAAS-based product teams preferred

  • Experience in a healthcare-related field a plus

  • Experience in any of the following tools preferred:
    • Google Analytics / Firebase

    • JIRA / Confluence

    • Smartsheet

    • Tableau

    • Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams

  • Agile methodologies a plus

  • Documenting requirements (functional specifications, user stories)

  • User Acceptance Testing (defining criteria, testing) a plus

Salary: $69,220 - 122,896/annually
