job summary:

Our Fortune 500 client has an immediate need for a Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner to support their payments team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of enterprise experience as a BA, BSA or Product Owner in an agile environment. Flexible for remote work to start but the client ideally wants to hire someone in the Denver/Denver Tech Center.

responsibilities:

Job Duties:

- Act as Product Owner in the agile process.

- Lead in-house teams using agile scrum methodology drafting overall product features, prioritizing delivery, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with scrum team members to ensure product features are delivered according to the vision of the Product Manager or business owner

- Develop the details for product ideas from Product Management and uncovering complexity as you do so

- Working with business stakeholders at all levels of the organization to document high level requirements and project success criteria in the BRD and obtain Stakeholder signoff

- Work closely with the Product Manager and Project Manager to plan releases and manage scope

- Work with UI/UX/Content teams to bring engaging user experiences to life

- Produce Current State and Future State process flows, activity diagrams and use cases as project deliverables for internal as well as external business partners

- Collect business feedback on in flight product design

- Act as subject matter expert for Payments products and platforms

- Work with Product Management and business partners to understand business process and proactively recommend solutions to key business issues

- Participate in collaborative workshops that include business partners, process owners, and subject matter experts in process discovery activities such as process identification and inventory, process assessment, process discovery and process analysis

- Prioritize and sequence the scrum team backlog according to deliver business value and usable products

- Convey the Vision and Goals at the beginning of every Project and Sprint to all Scrum teams

- Participate in key scrum events, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospective

Requirements:

- strong prior experience working as a liaison between the business and engineering teams to deliver market products

- 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or Product Owner

- Agile experience required, Product Owner certification preferred

- strong business writing, and verbal communication skills

- Proven ability to handle architecturally significant projects

- Proven ability to handle multiple projects at a time

- Ability to break down requirements into epics and stories, grooming and elaboration of stories

- Uncover complexity in stakeholder requests

- Get things done attitude; Self-motivated, with the ability to "roll-up sleeves" and prioritize critical deadlines

- Ability to negotiate with the business, engineering, UI/UX teams

- Extensive ability to interact with technical, business and operational experts to establish and meet common goals

- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in engineering, business, or equivalent business experience

- Experience developing basic wireframes and interaction flows

- Ability to collaborate with other Product Owners and Scrum teams where more than one team required for project delivery

Preferred:

- Prior work at a large enterprise level organization

- Global or multi national experience a plus

- Payment experience preferred

For Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.00/hour.
