Job description

Enscicon Corporation is a heavy industrial staffing and recruiting company. We are working with a client that has an immediate opening for an Engineering Business Development Manager. Our client focuses on projects in the Electric Power Utility/Energy Industry.


Responsibilities

  • Reach out to potential customers, establish rapport, arrange meetings, and provide technical and business presentations.
  • Plan, develop, and manage marketing initiatives and strategies.
  • Develop, manage, and improve current Engineering marketing tools such as sales presentations, experience highlights, project highlights, webpage contents, and other marketing materials.
  • Manage and keep track of all ongoing opportunities such as customer outreach, contacts, RFQs, RFPs, and proposals until they turn into funded projects.
  • Search potential opportunities in various online platforms and identify well fit opportunities.
  • Attend relevant tradeshows, conferences, and industry events to promote and showcase Engineering capabilities.
  • Participate in technical presentations, papers, and panels to promote engineering capabilities.
  • Participate in developing company business growth plans and help meet the growth goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree of business, marketing, power engineering, or related field with background in technical/engineering business development required.
  • 5+ years working experience in the engineering industry.
  • Working experience in sales, marketing, or related field.
  • Familiar with electrical power distribution systems.
  • Experienced in proposals, and other documentation to prepare time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services.
  • Ability to prepare preliminary schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Must have excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Must be a team player and be able to work with various partners from start to finish.

Target Salary

  • $110,000 - $175,000 (Salary may be more, or less, depending on experience)
