Job description

As the Facility Project Manager, you will be primarily responsible for project managing corporate or field facility management projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting remote offices as well as managing facility management projects. Candidates should be adept in in developing cohesive business-partner relationships and have experienced with problem solving and driving multiple projects simultaneously.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conducts project management for all office locations, including construction or decommissioning. Responsible for the development and delivery of projects by coordinating activities to provide schedules, costs, end-to-end design, and implementation as required. Develops viable alternative options for consideration to ensure requirements are delivered economically and functionally.
  • Develops and manages scopes of work and budgets; tracks performance.
  • Ensures project compliance within the organization's established standards.
  • Assembles and directs the project delivery team (architect, GC, vendors) to ensure delivery of the project on time and within budget. Provides guidance and resources for team members.
  • Coordinates activities with landlords. Negotiates with and manages vendors.
  • Coordinates activities between other company departments.
  • Maintains and distributes status reports proactively.
  • Provides facility management consultation to field offices as requested, to include forecasting, allocating and maximizing space utilization, resolving issues, and maximizing building efficiencies. Identifies facility needs and prioritizes them.
  • Provides furniture layouts for office planning.
  • Analyzes and tracks facility management expenses and proposes initiatives to standardize services and/or reduce costs.
  • Manages or coordinates vendors as required.
  • Conducts preliminary real estate document reviews and coordinates with the Legal department for formal reviews and approvals.
  • Assists developing and implementing strategic real estate plans.
  • Facilitates real estate searches and real estate negotiations.
  • Manages and coordinates with sub-tenants as required.
  • Collaborates with the Finance team to accurately treat lease costs.
  • Collaborates with the Legal team to facilitate lease and document management.
  • Some travel required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • CFM or FMP preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Facility Project Management
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Project, Outlook, and Powerpoint. Autocad experience preferred.
  • 25% travel required, as needed, per business needs.
  • Self-governing and able to act with limited guidance. Strong analytical capability required.
  • Adept at developing and maintaining positive business relationships.
  • Able to handle pressure, multiple priorities and deadlines, and provide immediate responsiveness to end-users while exercising excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to translate user needs into design requirements.
  • Thinks unconventionally but delivers practical results that support the business culture.
  • Ability to develop business cases and interact with senior management on a frequent basis. Ability to develop viable options for users while oriented towards bottom line.
  • Understands budgeting, budget management, and basic lease accounting principles.
  • Able to read construction documents.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Professional certification such as CFM or FMP desired.

Salary: $67,466 - $89,955 annually

Bonus eligible based upon company and individual performance
