Project Manager

Our established manufacturing firm is growing its clientele, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in structural steel and/or Machining project management. This candidate must be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. Project Manager responsibilities and duties

· Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects

· Understand scope of work and contractual Requirements

· Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors

· Collaborating with engineers, architects and construction personnel

· Selecting subcontractors and delegating work

· Problem-solving to address delays, emergencies or other issues

· Comply with safety and quality measures

· Reporting progress to clients

· Negotiating and explaining contract and technical matters in a clear manner

· Preparing budgets, cost estimates, schedules and timelines from early stages to completion of a project

· strong understanding of machining and structural steel is necessary

Project Manager Skills

· Strong leadership skills and work ethic to enable the creation of a highly capable Project Management

· 5+ years of relevant experience in Production, Manufacturing, or Construction

· Proven ability to effectively lead, supervise, develop, and mentor talented production resources

· Experience in off-site manufacturing/production/modular environments

· Demonstrated success in change management, problem solving, and solution development.

· Action-oriented and innovative in leading the Construction and Production functions

· Capable of driving change transformation to achieve specific business results

· Skilled in production processes of modular businesses

· Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvements

· Demonstrates a high level of ethical behavior in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance

· Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence

· Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with employees & customers.

· Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance

· Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, and problem solving skills

· Experience and technical understanding of data centers, data center modules, and modular processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
