Job description

DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the performance, image and growth of Bank. Responsible for loan quality and financial performance. Ensures integrity of bank services. Implements bank plans by planning, developing, directing and reviewing policies and practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

* Ensures acceptable quality and service are received throughout various bankingprocesses by conferring with customers and by periodically participating in various processes. Supports and monitors sales processes.
* Implements bank business plan by planning developing, directing and reviewingfinancial policies and practices of bank to ensure regulatory compliance, financialobjectives, goals and institutional growth are achieved.
* Maintains commercial loan portfolio. Serves as member of loan committee. May chaircommittee in absence of chairman.
* Directs activities of bank management personnel by conducting performanceappraisals, training, handling problems and discipline, and by making administrativedecisions regarding unique situations. Oversees that goals are met on the salesprogram.
* Maintains current industry knowledge by reading various publications andcorrespondence. Participates in product pricing and marketing of the banksproducts.
* Attends bank president meetings and completes projects and presentations asrequested.
* Participates in civic and community organizations, representing the bank, butfollowing personal interests. Promotes the bank whenever possible.
* Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
* Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Prefer 10 years banking experience and 5 years management experience.

Knowledge of finance, investments, and lending practices and principles.

Knowledge of accounting and economic practices and principles.

Knowledge of bank operations and work flow.

Knowledge of management practices and principles.

PREFERRED EDUCATION
College degree preferred.
