Job description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Project Manager will lead the team in planning and, executing, and completing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget by creating timeframes and plans and working with internal business and IT groups. This will include administrative tasks required for the smooth running of a project such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, creating presentations, document management, project plans maintenance and more.
The Project Manager will be expected to run several projects at a time.
Job Responsibilities:
Task Tracking:
- Gathers all project information: schedules, assignments, tasks, and project meetings.
- Works with project team to understand and assist with tracking all work, tasks, and project assignments.
- Develops and maintains a detailed project schedule along with monitoring and modifying the project schedule as needed.
- Develops and review project status and reports.
- Report on project delivery to all levels of the organization.
Meeting Coordination and Documentation:
- Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes and presentations.
- Assists project team in strategic meetings and follow up with meeting notes.
- Schedule project follow up meetings as needed.
- Develops and publishes communications to project shareholders.
Project Control:
- Coordinate resources to support project activities
- Maintain timely communication with IT staff and business to assure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Maintain proper communication and management of risks/issues.
- Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested by supervision.
Project Management Responsibilities:
- Manages parts of or whole projects in line with business and project requirements.
- Helps define project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Monitor all project documentation.
- Report on progress of all active projects.
- Maintain updates to the PMO Portfolio tracker.
- Report on progress of all tasks and communication to/from stakeholders
- Identify, raise and track issues and risks and recommend action to resolve.
- Represent the PMO at meetings as requested by the PMO leader.
- Create Project workflows, work breakdown structures, and project plans
Travel:
Travel will be limited. Position is primarily at iLendingDirect main office in Denver during the business day.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years-5 years of experience as a project manager, with a wide variety of projects delivered is preferred.
- Ability to probe for information and ask the right questions;
- Ability to assign and track tasks with others;
- Ability to report on project progress;
- Knowledge of PM standards;
- Organized with attention to detail;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- High level of oral, written and computer software communication skills;
- Efficient and able to prioritize tasks;
- Self-starter, proactive;
- Ability to work according to tight deadlines and under pressure;
- Creative and problem-solving thinking;
- Excellent knowledge of the MS suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); and MS Project;
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision as well as work as part of a team;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or related field highly desired;
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle preferred and Agile methodology a plus.
- Project Management or basic technology certification desired.

Work is performed in a business office environment. Travel to company, customer and vendor sites, including some that are out of state will be required.
