Salary: $85,000 - $125,000/ year

Primary Responsibilities - As a Sr. Manufacturing Test Engineer at In-Situ®, you will create and support production test equipment used on the production floor to assemble, calibrate, and test our products. This includes designing and building test/assembly fixtures, creating manufacturing procedures and developing software for automated testing/data collection.
In-Situ uses lean manufacturing practices that allow each product to be assembled, calibrated, and tested in the production cell. The Sr. Manufacturing Test Engineer will work directly with Production and Product Development teams to create safe, stable, and efficient manufacturing test processes. Ultimately, you will ensure that our final products meet our product safety, quality, and performance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with a very strong skill set in C#, C++ / MFC, and SQL.
- Deep hands-on technical expertise, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to design and take ownership of test stations including interpretation of electrical schematics, understanding of instrumentation specifications and write testing software code.
- Demonstrated history of developing software code that controls an array of laboratory grade instrumentation to automate complex calibration processes.
- A professional and resourceful style; the ability to work independently and as a team player, to take initiative, and to manage multiple tasks and projects at a time.
- Aggregate, assess and analyze production test data to recommend product design improvements and implement continuous improvements in production.
- Mentor other manufacturing test engineers and help provide direction for key SW development projects.
- Works with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure that product launches, and product quality standards are maintained.
- Self-Starter with excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to prioritize complex tasks.
- Help to establish software development standards for the team.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others within the organization to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
- Experience with database management and project management.
- Proven history of constructing, articulating, and implementing strategic direction.
- Hands on background in manufacturing engineering.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated skills in mathematics and statistics with experience in Matlab, Python, R, PowerShell, and/or Minitab programming a plus.
- History of writing effective software requirements specifications.
- Competency of 6-sigma or equivalent statistical, problem-solving methodology
