Overview:
Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists is an independently owned AAHA accredited specialty, critical care and emergency hospital that opened for business in Loveland, in March of 2014. This is an opportunity for veterinarians interested in being an integral and active part of a growing practice. We are looking for people who are motivated and excited to be part of the process: collaborative, creative and flexible. We are a warm, vibrant, family-oriented hospital that provides high quality, exceptional patient and client care, in tune with our vision and mission.
Mission:
To Provide Excellence in Care with Love.
We achieve this by:
- Practicing the highest quality team-based care
- Creating one practice within a multi-specialty environment
- Caring for our patients, each other, our clients, and our family veterinarians
- Creating a trusting, emotional, and empathetic bond
Scheduling:
You will be working at 4120 Clydesdale Parkway, Loveland CO 80538. At this time, the ER schedule includes day, swing, and night shifts 7 days a week.
Emergency shifts have overlapping hours, providing time for rounds, case transfers and collaboration. Full-time employment is between 38-46 shifts per quarter (3 months). If 38 shifts per quarter is worked, this averages out to a 33-hour work week. A 46 shift per quarter (3-4 days per week) schedule is equivalent to a 40-hour work week. Base salaries are adjusted according to the number of shifts per quarter an individual chooses to work.
Holidays: 6, including New Years, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving and Christmas Days. When scheduling, these are looked at as holiday periods. We expect that coverage of holidays and holiday periods be shared equitably and the doctors who work the specific holidays from year to year rotate.
The Emergency veterinarians currently create their work schedule cooperatively at least 3 months in advance. The goal is to allow flexibility, and to account for personal preferences in who works which shifts. Overall work hours over time are shared equitably. We encourage a well-rounded Emergency team and ask that our veterinarians work a variety of day, swing and overnight shifts. Variation in who works which shifts and the precise number of hours worked per month is ok, if all involved agree and feel that the work schedule is fair.
We would love to have you join our team!
