Maintenance Technician

In this vital role you will under limited supervision, complete advanced maintenance activities assigned to inspection and packaging equipment in accordance with established guidelines and operating procedures. Core responsibility will be to provide maintenance and repairs to the clients process manufacturing equipment. Conduct intermediate troubleshooting and employ predictive technologies to identify root cause and appropriate corrective actions to diagnose or avert equipment problems. Multiple positions available supporting non-standard shifts.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Identify, and resolve, problems related to the inspection and packaging process equipment and where possible minimize equipment downtime.
- Complete maintenance activities, or operate and monitor complex inspection and packaging equipment, with ability to investigate issues or problems.
- Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/systems the team is responsible for.
- Ensure that operational log paperwork, daily log files, and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
- All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, OSHA, cGMPs, SOPs, Job Plans, Safety and Amgen policies. Maintain an up-to-date cGMP training book.
- Develop, revise, and review SOPs or Job Plans/Work Plans for work related areas.
- Evaluate the current maintenance procedures and assist in the changes to optimize the maintenance program.

Basic qualifications:Associate degree & 2 years maintenance experience
OrHigh school diploma & 4 years maintenance experience
Beyond that, the additional preferred qualifications are:- Educational Background in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics or related field.
- Work Experience at inspection or packaging equipment/system on GMP regulated industry
- Good communicate skills both verbal and written
- Reading/Writing skills to perform and document maintenance operations
- Demonstrate expertise in two or more advanced maintenance technologies and understand how to apply technology to improve equipment reliability (alignment, balancing, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound, electric motor circuit analysis, metrology or vibration monitoring).
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Troubleshooting and Root Cause analysis techniques
- Ability to interact constructively with peers/teams.
