Sr Associate Quality Control

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will under general supervision, be responsible for one or more of the following activities in the HPLC Drug Substance laboratory for Quality Control including analytical testing and approval, method validations and transfer execution, sample and data management.
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing, documentation, trending, and approval for compendial and non-compendial methods
- Perform or review standards preparation and testing, reagents and solution preparation, sample management and equipment maintenance
- Introduce new techniques to the lab, including method transfers, reports, validations, and protocols
- Perform equipment validation, operation, and maintenance
- Perform laboratory investigations of analytical results
- May participate in audits, initiatives, and projects within own department or other organizations.
- May provide technical guidance and act as instructor for training purposes
- May represent the department/organization on various teams
- May interact with outside resources

The Basic Qualifications are:Degree
Or
Bachelors degree and 2 years of manufacturing experience in a GMP regulated industry
Beyond that, the additional preferred qualifications are:- Educational background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology
- Previous working knowledge with HPLC equipment and Empower or similar data acquisition system
- Strong organizational skills, including ability to follow assignments through to completion
- Initiate and lead cross functional teams
- Enhanced skills in leading, influencing and negotiating
- Experience in presenting to regulatory agencies
- Strong communication (both written and oral), facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong skill in working independently and to effectively interact with various levels
- Advance data trending and evaluation
- Ability to evaluate compliance issues
- Demonstrate the Amgen Values/Leadership Practices
